Review: MAC Lipsticks

Totally obsessed with lipsticks right now and my favs include MAC's Vegas Volt, Girl About Town, & Please Me. If you are olive or yellow skin toned, these will look amazing on you. They are very flattering for medium-light Middle Eastern or South Asian skin. The textures Amplified & Matte give you the best color and wear.

Vegas Volt (Amplified): the perfect pinkish orange. A very subtle orange compared to MAC's Morange, and more orange-y than MAC's Lickable. If you're looking for an orange tone lipstick but find them too bright and ridiculous on you then this is the perfect color! It has enough orange without making you look funny! A must-have Spring/Summer color.

Girl About Town (Amplified): a dull fuschia pink. Not as bright as MAC's Candy Yum Yum and not as neon-y as MAC's Impassioned. If you're still looking for this season's pink lipstick, then Girl About Town is perfect!! Compliments my Pakistani skin amazingly. A total must-have pink!

Please Me (Matte): a naturally enchancing pink. This is a great light pink that can be worn daily. Not as purple as MAC's Snob and not too nude-y pink like MAC's Blankety. The perfect everday pink lipstick for medium-light skin tones. Again, a definite must-have!

Beauty File: Mac Kohl Eye Pencil

Hey girls,
This is my first beauty review for our blog! I was looking for a nice eye pencil for a smokey eye look and came across the MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil. It was voted as the best eye pencil for 2012. I tried it on and its great! The pencil is soft and great for waterline. It will smudge and is great if you are going for a smokey eye look! The tip is so soft and you don't have to go over your water line again and again like other pencils. I got the color smoulder which is a black however there are various colors available. I love Mac for its eye and lip products! A must have beauty product! It is $16 Dollars and 14 pounds in UK. Available at any departmental store, Boots and Sephora.
